Creativing is written by Doug Schumacher, founder and creative director of Basement, an interactive marketing strategy and creative consultancy in Los Angeles.

Doug has been involved with the online space since it’s embryonic days of Prodigy and CompuServ. He creative directed his first major brand experience website at TBWA/Chiat/Day in 1995, for the Nissan Pathfinder SUV.

Doug lives in Venice, California, and when not working, likes cycling around the West Side of LA, playing bass guitar, photography, and snowboarding.
